Elite Edition's call-ups unfold in all-new locations, including the Los Angeles Metro system, the Los Angeles airport, a private Hollywood Hills residence, and a Century City skyscraper. Designed to architectural scale, each hostage rescue, rapid deployment, and high-risk warrant service will include all the tension and meticulous attention to detail that earned Tammy Dargan PC Accelerator's 1999 All-Star Level Designer award for the original Swat 3.
In Swat 3's multiplayer mode, you'll have the freedom toplay as either the terrorists or SWAT in Co-operative, Death Match, and Competitive Modes. In Co-opmode, you'll partner with a second element to complete overall objectives. In competitive mode, you'll play a tournament style game. In Death Match you'll go head to head with another team, choosing to use either live ammunition or paintballs.
The new multiplayer missions introduce many new options, including fully customizable appearances, teamtypes, and firearms, each with customizable ammunition types, magazines, stocks, and sights. Revisit any of SWAT 3's original missions or create your own.
Swat3 supports sessions of up to ten simultaneous players via LAN or free over the Internet.
